What is the difference between Trenching & Boring?

Trenching usually is digging a new hole that a utility or material will be laid on. Usually in trenching you have limited space to work with and the digging is deeper than wider.

For example a natural gas or electrical line may be dug and then buried under 48 inches of soil.

Boring is more like tunneling and used when you need to reach under an existing area without causing any destruction to that area.

For example a road may require a tunnel underneath. Boring is usually done using a rotating cutting wheel and usually is about 5-75 feet underground.

Do you employ subcontractors?

If more man power is needed we have a team of subcontractors we employ. Besides working with a proven team of subcontractors with great reputations, we perform extensive back ground checks to make sure they are in good standing with the state as well as local suppliers. Any work subcontracted is done under our supervision.
